《海燕》既是一首色彩鲜明的抒情诗，又是一幅富有音乐节奏和流动感的油画，具备诗的音乐美和绘画美，给人以很强的艺术感染力。在引导学生解读这首诗时，我根据散文诗的特点，加强朗读背诵，于诵读中展现海燕的活动空间，紧紧围绕三幅画面引导学生感知海燕大无畏的战斗精神，从中体验并学习这种精神，且联系生活实际，引导学生如何面对生活中的“暴风雨”。
教学过程：
一、 导入
设置情景，投影显示如下画面：风雨交加，雷鸣电闪，大雨滂沱，漆黑不见人影。面遇这样的情景，同学们会怎样面对呢？（同学可能会回答“惧怕”、“躲藏”等）但海燕它不惧怕，它勇敢地面对暴风雨。今天我们就来看看这勇敢的海燕。（板书课题和作者）
二、 走进作者，了解写作背景
1、 由学生先说，教师小结。
2、 出示两张简介作者和写作背景的幻灯片。
三、 听读，感知海燕形象。
